As a Parts Coordinator you will be responsible for managing and tracking the parts and supply inventories, including but not limited to: processing the daily technician car stock replenishment, placing orders with our vendors on a weekly basis to replenish the warehouse inventories for parts and supplies, and conduct the quarterly inventory counts on parts and supplies.

Essential Duties Inlcude:

  • Manage the parts department and ensure the parts coordinator duties are covered.
  • Manage the supply department and ensure the order puller/ shipper duties are covered.
  • Order necessary parts and supplies for warehouse stock and usage.
  • Monitor min/max levels for parts and supplies.
  • Assist with Q2 and Q4 physical inventory and reconciliation.
  • Generate the daily technician car stock replenishment.
  • Generate and order from the vendors the weekly parts and supplies auto-restock for the warehouse.
  • Generate specific reports as needed.
  • Monitor and order tech and shop supplies.
  • Run daily technician usage report for VP of Service and Field Service Managers.
  • Monitor back order report daily. Order as necessary.
  • Monitor core returns to appropriate vendors.
  • Utilize PartSpy whenever possible to minimize parts costs. Obtain from sister companies when possible.
  • Work closely with Field Service Managers to minimize incomplete calls and distribute parts correctly.
  • Monitor payroll hours to minimize overtime.
  • Supervise the Parts Runner position. Prioritize workload as needed.
  • Keeps attendance and punctuality in good standing.
  • Adheres to all company/department policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a positive work environment.

  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods.
  • Other duties as assigned.  Management reserves the right to add or delete duties as deemed appropriate.

 High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft products (Word and Excel). Knowledge of eAutomate preferred.
