As a Service Technician you are responsible for the timely and cost effective maintenance and repair of office product equipment and for promoting and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction with our service and products.

  • Maximize equipment up-time through timely response and effective and efficient repair with selective customer training to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the utilization of assets and resources to achieve targeted financial results and create superior value for Denitech and our customers.
  • Analyze customer needs, recognize business opportunities, and influence sales volume growth.
  • Communicate and interact with customers, field service, sales, management, and administration in a way that is courteous, positive and professional.
  • Complete all administrative aspects of the job on time and error-free.
  • Provide accurate feedback with call close information, parts usage reporting and customer meter readings.
  • Basic understanding of troubleshooting, network printing and scanning.
  • Responsible for continued development of skills through formal training, self-study, and on-the-job training. 
  • Demonstrate willingness and capacity to be trained on most digital office equipment that is in, or added to the company line.
  • Responsible for all company issued tools, computers, phones, etc.
  • Requires valid driver's license, clean driving record and minimum levels of auto insurance.
  • Other duties as assigned.  Management reserves the right to add or delete duties as deemed appropriate.

Skills Required:

  • High School Diploma of GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct related experience.  Xerox or HP experience preferred.
  • Manual lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Products and internet
  • Strong electro/mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and time management.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Attentive to details.
  • Critical thinking skills to assist in problem solving.
  • Strong Teamwork and customer relations skills.
  • Able to handle more than one responsibility at a time.
  • Independent work skills and able to work under deadlines.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Electronics or similar field preferred.
