As a Warehouse Assistant you work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and Inventory Control Coordinator by un-boxing equipment for set-up and preparing equipment and/or supplies for shipping. 

  • Physical receiving and stocking of copier equipment.
  • Unboxing of copier equipment for set-up.
  • Prepare equipment for shipping through designated freight carriers.
  • General assistance in warehouse as needed.
  • Back-up for copier supply physical receiving.
  • Back-up for copier supply shipping through UPS.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts.
  • Serve as back-up delivery and install driver when needed.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
  • Requires valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Keeps attendance and punctuality in good standing.
  • Adheres to all company/department policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a positive work environment.
  • Be a team player.
  • Adhere to the Employee Code of Conduct.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods.
  • Other duties as assigned.  Management reserves the right to add or delete duties as deemed appropriate.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to operate a forklift is required.
  • Attention to detail is critical in the position.
  • Good communication skills, including listening, questioning, and writing.
  • Critical thinking skills to assist in problem solving.
  • Independent work skills and able to work under deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork and customer relations skills.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office is required.
  • Intermediate computer skills are preferred.
  • Requires valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.

Desired Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
